Bridge pipelines

Pipelines installed in, under or along bridges have one universal problem: The access to the existing main is always limited, which makes traditional repair or replacement options either extremely expensive or even impossible.

Being generally in good condition a lot of bridge pipelines suffer from corrosion and are therefore no longer capable of carrying the pressure load. In addition, preventative maintenance of these pipes is recommended to protect the bridge construction. The Primus Line® system is the perfect solution for this type of pipeline, as the Primus Liner is installed lose-fit, can easily gap joints and due to its flexibility even accommodate expansion caused by temperature fluctuations. Furthermore, Primus Line® only requires access to the existing pipeline on both ends and can be installed in one single shot over 1,000 metres and more.
