Industrial high pressure mains

Many industrial pipelines operate 24/7. They transport brine or processed water and are often rated to a design pressure of over 232 psi.

Because these pipelines are a critical component to a respective production process of the asset owner, downtimes have to be kept to a minimum. Due to the strength of the aramid core, the Primus Line® system can be used to rehabilitate industrial pipes that are rated to a design pressure of 232 psi and above, despite the small consistent wall thickness of the liner.

In the Netherlands, a 362 psi brine pipeline running underneath a motorway was renewed with Primus Line®. The installation of the system was completed in only one working day.

A similar project was also completed in France resulting in a significant cost and time saving to the asset owner.
