The decision to rehabilitate a water main has been made, however obtaining permits to access private properties can be a lengthy and costly process. In addition, considerable delays may be expected to negotiate land permits with property owners.

Thanks to the trenchless and flexible construction method of Primus Line® with long installation lengths and the possibility to negotiate bends up to 45 degree, the approval process can be shortened substantially. Placing the small construction pits in public areas does not require the consent of private parties. The water main can then be rehabilitated with almost no effect on land owners.
