Land permits

The decision to rehabilitate a water main has been made, however obtaining permits to access private properties can be a lengthy and costly process. In addition, considerable delays may be expected to negotiate land permits with property owners.

Placing the small construction pits in public areas does not require the consent of private parties. The water main can then be rehabilitated with almost no effect on land owners.
