Vertical pipelines

Vertical pipes are often installed in shafts and tunnels with limited accessibility, thus the use of heavy machinery is either impossible or would be exceptionally expensive and time consuming.

The flexible Primus Liner can easily be dragged by hand over long distances to the designated pipeline and fed manually top to bottom into the existing pipe due to its low weight. Only a small compressor will be necessary to inflate the pre-folded liner after the installation.

In Sydney Primus Line® rehabilitated a vertical pipeline over the length of over 100 metres.
