Primus Line at IFAT 2022
Many thanks for the numerous visitors!
After four years, IFAT is back with a bang: on the very first morning of the fair, we were delighted to welcome many guests to our stand. Throughout the entire week of the fair, we were visited by long-standing partners and new interested parties alike. Our hands-on exhibits were a real crowd-puller, generating a lively exchange. We could not have wished for a better return after the break in 2020.
Our highlights at IFAT
New low-pressure liner
Just in time for IFAT, we have expanded our product range in the low-pressure area. This means that we can now also offer a cost-effective rehabilitation solution for DN 400 water pipes with an operating pressure of up to 12 bar. Thanks to the hybrid thread used, the low-budget version does not lack the necessary high strength.
Parallel installation of other media
After pulling in the Primus Liner, an annular space remains between it and the old pipe, because Primus Line® is self-supporting and is not glued. This makes installation quicker and leaves room for other media such as microcable ducts for fibre optic cables, signal cables or locating tapes, which can be pulled in parallel. We will be happy to show you how this works on a special exhibit.
Haptic experience
Touching allowed! At our trade fair stand, the haptic experience of our products is not neglected. What does a liner feel like? Can you feel the differences between the coatings? Can I bend the liner by hand? And how tear-resistant is the yellow aramid thread that the Primus liner is made of?

In over 1,500 projects, the company has gained experience in a wide range of applications, including large-scale projects with long insertion lengths. In one section, pipeline lengths of up to 2,500 metres can be rehabilitated with Primus Line®.
These projects show that Primus Line can do more than just special applications in the form of culverts or crossings of bridges or traffic routes.

Founded in 2001, Rädlinger primus line GmbH, part of the Werner Rädlinger Group, is headquartered in Bavaria, Germany, and has subsidiaries in Australia, the USA, Canada and China. To date, the company has carried out more than 1,000 projects for the rehabilitation of pressure pipelines and employs more than 100 people.
