Rädlinger primus line GmbH, one of the leading suppliers in the field of flexible piping technologies, is expanding its product portfolio once again. The new liner with a diameter of DN 550 – one size larger than before – is expected to be available from the end of the fourth quarter of 2026 for water applications in the PN 10 pressure class. This will provide customers with even more tailor-made solutions for the rehabilitation of pressure pipes from DN 150 upwards.
The company, which is headquartered in Cham, Bavaria, has also developed a new reel unit. In the event of a bypass or emergency application, this unit allows the liner to be both unrolled and rewound for reuse.

Mithilfe der neu entwickelten Trommeleinheit lässt sich der Liner für den oberirdischen Einsatz bei Bypass- oder Notfallanwendungen ab- und zur Wiederverwendung wieder aufrollen.

Safety through tested quality
At Rädlinger Primus Line, product quality and safety are as important as innovation. Primus Line® Rehab is a reliable, approval-free solution for maintaining asbestos cement pressure pipes. It is currently the only inliner process in Germany to be approved as a low-emission construction technique.
This technology is just as safe to use with drinking water as it is with asbestos cement pipes. The system, which consists of a liner and connectors and has 16 drinking water certificates worldwide, including the KTW-BWGL certificate in Germany and the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certificate in the USA. Applications have also been submitted for certificates for the new DN 550 liner diameter. The liner has also been tested for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 61. All test results were not only below the maximum pollutant limit, but even below the detection limit. Therefore, the Primus Liner can be described as PFAS-free. In addition, the specially developed connectors are certified according to the North American standard NSF/ANSI/CAN 372, meaning they are classified as lead-free.
The quality of Rädlinger Primus Line has been proven over 25 years. In addition to standardised testing programmes, long-term references are another hallmark of quality. Ask the IFAT team from Rädlinger Primus Line for more information on site. They will be happy to answer all your questions about innovations, safety and the product itself, as well as discussing your individual requirements and projects.
