How it all began

A brief look back at our history

Following five years of development work, Rädlinger primus line GmbH was founded in 2001 and launched its own trenchless rehabilitation technology for pressure pipelines onto the market. The first projects were completed in 2003. A quarter of a century later, what was once a start-up has developed into an internationally active company with branches in Australia, the USA and Canada.

Looking back – looking ahead

5 questions for Werner Rädlinger

To mark the anniversary, Werner Rädlinger, the company’s owner and managing director, looks back in a short interview – and sets out his vision for the future.

We have achieved what many did not think we were capable of: we are now an international brand. At the same time, Primus Line® is a well-known name amongst industry experts, but not everyone in the pressure pipe sector is familiar with it yet.

In terms of the company, we are now organized in a much more professional manner. Our technical expertise and the knowledge we have built up over the years stand us in good stead here.

Our portfolio has also changed. We used to consider ourselves solely as a product supplier. However, we now see ourselves as a service partner, for example in the field of engineering. Here, too, the experience and extensive knowledge of our staff play a central role.

Quality is also important to me. Quality control of our technology is carried out throughout the entire manufacturing process – from raw materials right through to the goods leaving the factory. We have invested heavily in this and continue to do so, for example in production, new products or testing. And we also want to raise this awareness of quality among our installation partners with regard to the execution of their work.

Establishing our trenchless rehabilitation method in the minds of those in charge. Making it clear to them that there is another way and that this method offers advantages for certain applications. However, we still need to maintain a constant presence to convince each and every one of them of our product’s performance.

From a technical perspective, it is our production facility, because without it we would not be able to manufacture anything.

Apart from that, it is the people who make our technology what it is. The expertise of our long-serving staff is invaluable!

The whole world should recognize that Primus Line® is the go-to solution for pressure pipe rehabilitation.

Thank you very much for your insights, Werner.

„The expertise of our long-serving staff is invaluable!“
