When and how did you join Rädlinger Primus Line? What made you decide to join the company back then – and what keeps you here to this day?

At the start of 2017, a vacancy for a technical sales role in southern Germany was advertised. I applied for the role and was hired on 1 May 2017. I was new to the industry and was given the opportunity to gradually familiarise myself with the subject matter. I was very quickly won over by the process and the product, partly due to my previous professional experience in the field of technical textiles.

The past nine years have flown by. We have managed to attract many new customers and build up a number of long-standing partnerships. For me, the company combines tradition and a close-knit, family-like atmosphere with an international spirit and growth.

Which moments or projects do you particularly enjoy looking back on?

On the one hand, my first project, which I secured independently – the rehabilitation of an asbestos-cement drinking water pipeline in Erlangen; on the other hand, the joint project successes, the tough times we have weathered together – including the period during the pandemic – and, of course, the camaraderie within the company as well as the long-standing contacts in the industry.

„(…) we (…) have been able to position our brand clearly in the market, even though there is still plenty of potential for increasing our market share in the future.“

In your view, what has changed the most – in technical, organisational and/or on a personal level?

When I started in 2017, I felt the company and my department were on the path from being a start-up to becoming a growing business. I would say we have successfully navigated this journey and have been able to position our brand clearly in the market, even though there is still plenty of potential for increasing our market share in the future.

Which developments in your field were real milestones for you?

Achieving BT62 certification, the team spirit within the department and amongst the staff through all the ups and downs, being perceived by customers as a solution provider offering a very high standard of quality (no complaints!), and setting up the third assembly team.

Which skills or values from your early days are still important today, and why?

Openness, a service-oriented approach, dynamism, perseverance

You are now an expert in your field. What does experience mean to you in your day-to-day work?

I am better able to put things into perspective; a lot of things no longer faze me.

When you think about the future development of the company and/or the product, what are you particularly looking forward to?

To continue expanding our market share in German-speaking countries with a steadily growing team.

And finally: what message or best wishes would you like to share with the company to mark its 25th anniversary?

That it continues to embody its corporate values so that it can successfully navigate the next 25 years in a sustainable way.
