Situation

The sewer rising main runs underneath a main road into an environmentally sensitive and difficult to access swampland. Due to the limited accessibility to the pipeline, the actual condition of the main was uncertain. To eliminate any risk of failure, the client decided to preventively renovate the main with Primus Line®.

Special features

Minimal cross-sectional reduction

The existing asbestos cement pipeline DN 375 has an inner diameter of 386 mm. Therefore it was possible to install a Primus Liner DN 400 with an outer diameter of 354 mm.

Primus Liner always filled with water

A non-return valve was installed at the low point after the pump station to ensure that the installed Primus Liner is always filled with water.

Short installation time

The installation of the Primus Liner and the two Primus Line connectors could be achieved in only one working day.
